Peace Vigil in Geneva

Amidst the smoking ashes of suffering, angry rhetoric, suspicion, and fear, a call goes out for all people of goodwill to be a witness of hope, peace and reconciliation. While we may all feel hurt, frustrated and discouraged by current events and the division it is causing in our families and communities, please come with the intention to connect with love, to renew your spirit, and to dramatize to the community that the dream of the "peaceable kingdom" is within our grasp. Peaceful silence, interspersed with words and music with messages of peace, will be the order of the day. If you bring a sign, make it a message of hope, justice, love, respect. Please avoid negatives. As a symbol of peace and hope, white or light colored attire is suggested. A white scarf, or white flower would be a simple way to convey this message.
