Kane County has these countywide elective offices:

- Coroner - Charles H. West (R)
- Recorder -Sandy Wegman (R)
- Sheriff - Kenneth R. Ramsey (R)
- Treasurer - David J. Rickert (R)
- State's Attorney - Meg Gorecki (R)
The county also has a County Board comprising 26 Board Members and a Chairman. The county is partitioned into 26 districts and voters in each district elect one member and also vote for Chairman. Five board members are Democrats; the other 21 and the chairman are Republicans.
